3D Web used to only exist in developed countries, but now it has begun to develop in Vietnam and has shown initial positive signs.

After a long period of development and continuous improvement, 3D has now conquered many fields and is creating a new technological revolution. The effectiveness of 3D technology has attracted many manufacturers and businesses, which can lead to typical technological products such as 3D TV, 3D movies, 3D games, 3D phones without glasses…, and it is impossible not to mention 3D Web products.

3D Web used to only exist in developed countries, but now it has begun to develop in Vietnam and has initially shown positive signs. A typical example is the website www.hello3dworld.com (developed by Phuc Le Gia Joint Stock Company (PLG). After one year of launching (August 2010), up to now, PLG has successfully built a B2C e-commerce trading floor in the form of organizing online exhibitions.

The difference and highlight between hello3Dworld and traditional 2D e-commerce websites is the ability to interact with the product. Users will be able to learn and explore from the whole to the details of the product just like in real life, for example: when wanting to observe more closely, just rotate to the detail you want to see, zoom in, zoom out to observe from every angle, even the smallest.

At the international conference on Web 3D held in Paris from June 20 to 22, the website www.hello3Dworld.com was honored to be mentioned as one of the websites that successfully deployed Web 3D technology in the international arena. Although there are still many technical factors that need to be further studied for completion in the future, the website www.hello3dworld.com has kindled a hope in bringing Vietnamese Web 3D products to the world.
