Overview of the Projet MJP 3500 plus printer

The MJP 2500 Plus 3D printer can print a wide range of materials, from hard colored or transparent materials equivalent to PC, ABS plastic… to soft, elastic materials such as rubber, silicon or materials that can withstand high temperatures.

Strict requirements for creating extremely precise and sophisticated Jigs or ultra-thin, ultra-small models… as well as medical applications with very high biocompatibility (USP Class VI and ISO 10993 certified)
Unlike all 3D printers on the market, the MJP 2500 Plus uses more than 1,000 micron nozzles to create super-fine printing layers (13 microns). In particular, the support layer is built with wax material. Wax has the ability to melt itself in the solution without any impact on force or pressure, this smart technology has created extremely perfect and precise printing models.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan – technician at Scantech shared: “3D Systems’ printers have their own characteristics, so the support processing process is also very special. After the printer returns the product, technicians need to mix water with Ez risen (can be replaced with cooking oil) at a ratio of 1/10. The water needs to have a temperature of 65 to 70 degrees Celsius, then directly drop the product into the solution, stirring back and forth until the support layers are completely removed. The time depends on the specific characteristics of the printed model. Its advantage is that the support is completely cleaned with the solution without much manual intervention.

The product after being processed becomes smooth surface.
