Traditionally, “Downward design” starts with coming up with an idea and then drawing it on paper or computer. Next are the steps to calculate, process and test sample products, check using manual measurement methods: calipers, micrometers, dial gauges\u2026 and develop the product to perfection. Finally launched into mass production. This is the traditional manufacturing process from \u201cForward design or forward design\u201d data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Reverse engineering” or “Reverse engineering” was born based on the support of 3D Scanning machines. “Reverse design” is understood as design from available data using the 3D Scan method. Use the 3D Scan device to capture the 3-dimensional profile of the sample, then export it to reverse design software (Geomagic designX, Cimatron, Solidwworks, ProE, Catia\u2026) to redraw. Reverse engineering software also allows users to change the size and design of the design as desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of 3D Scan and Reverse Engineering for each product will depend on the following factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accuracy level of Scanning Equipment: Customers request 3D Scanning Equipment using German (Gom, Carl Zeiss), European, or Chinese equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Product size, shape, material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specific requirements: Design prototypes or change styles, profiles, adjust sizes\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samples that need to be scanned are sent to Scantech’s office headquarters or scanned at the Customer’s location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time needed to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEP 2: CONFIRM ORDER AND ADVANCE PAYMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After confirming the order, please advance 50% of the order value (by Bank Transfer or Cash) for Scantech to carry out the Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
